1. Students in the country?s 10 provinces will participate in an essay writing competition on Saving. 2 Children will stand to win per province. Winners will have a Youth or Juniorsave account opened and $50 deposited. Winning essays will be shared with other children in the country 2. Students will tour POSB branches, 3 schools will tour each branch , total 96 schools 3. POSB branches will each visit 2 schools in low income and rural areas to talk about banking 4. Radio Programme 5. Financial Literacy Workshop 6. Launch of Youth Loans in partnership with Ministry of Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment 7. TV advert on Juniorsave Product 8. Soccer and Netball tournament for youths in high density areas. Educating youths on financial literacy through sport The bank will have staff talking about financial literacy to the youths at the games and also opening accounts for interested youths 9. Donation of $5000 to Kidzcan (This was done in February during the organisations celebration of Orange day, and is part of POSBs activity leading to GMW) 10. The bank will engage small indigenous businesses to sell food and drink and airtime at the soccer tournament so as to give them an opportunity to generate some income
